MPH was founded in 1815 when a young missionary, William Milne chose Malacca to establish a permanent mission press.
From there, MPH grew and has expanded to become one of the leading English Bookstores in Malaysia. It’s first flagship store at MPH Mid Valley was listed in the Malaysia Book of Records in 2002 and it was awarded Superbrand status.
MPH Bookstores currently has 28 outlets in Malaysia: 19 in the Klang Valley, 3 in Johor, 2 in Negeri Sembilan, 1 each in Perak, Pulau Pinang , Melaka and Kedah operating under the MPH Bookstores brand name.
